Guest Access

Guests are welcome to use the entire house as described, and the attached back garden.

Our home is a Victorian house, built in 1880 with many of the original decoration and features. As you enter through the small front garden, you’ll be greeted by climbing jasmine and vine, along with seasonal potted flowers and herbs. Step inside to a short hallway where you can hang your coat and leave your shoes, before heading into the double reception room on your right. The front sitting room features two built-in sofas (one of which opens into a double bed), an additional cozy two-seater, plenty of cushions, and a sound system with Bluetooth, CD, and cassette options. The rear sitting area includes a dedicated workspace, an upright piano, and access to the back garden. Further along the hallway is our spacious kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the large wooden dining table comfortably seats six. A Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair is also available for children. At the rear of the ground floor, the bright and airy bathroom overlooks the garden and includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs, just off the first landing, you’ll find a small and cosy bedroom with a single bed. Quiet and peaceful, it faces the back garden and is ideal for a solo guest or child. Right next to it is a separate toilet. A few more steps up lead to the nursery, a well-lit and calm room with garden-facing windows. It features a bunk bed and shelves stocked with toys for various ages. Next to the nursery is the master bedroom, offering a king-size bed, a built-in wardrobe, and two large windows. All upstairs windows are fitted with child-safety locks that prevent them from opening more than 15cm — a mandatory precaution if young children are staying. Please note: there is no television in the house.

You might see some guest reviews mentioning our lovely cat, Nissim. This is just to clarify that Nissim will not be present, as we have found another arrangement for her. The house will be professionally and thoroughly cleaned before each check-in, and - needless to say - the linen changed into a fresh and clean set, so no need to worry if you are allergic to cats.
